Our campaign While Rothley residents are realistic enough to accept that the village should evolve we are all concerned with how substantial developments are widening the village borders, merging with other villages and changing the unique rural characteristics of the village. This website intends to collect relevant, serious and well informed contributions to present to governing bodies when considering major developments within the village, both now and in the future. The aim of this campaign is to provide Rothley with a more pro-active voice rather than a following the current prescriptive procedures set out by local and central government which appear to be tainted by developers. This web site is the property of the whole village and has been designed to allow any concerns relating to any building development to be discussed. Detailed below are our seven key issues with the proposed development:
